The Mission Mountain Marketing Association is composed of individuals,
cooperatives and companies who are producing specialty food products
in Montana. Many of them currently use the Mission Mountain Food
Enterprise Center to produce their goods or co-pack their products.
All are interested in growing their businesses and expanding their
market penetration by using the services and opportunities provided
by the Mission Mountain Marketing Association. While membership
is currently open to any specialty food producer in Western Montana,
the goal for the Association is to become an independent, self-sustaining
cooperative marketing group. The Association can then be expanded
to include regional food producers that ultimately meet, as a group,
to establish by-laws, conditions of membership and determine the
services it wishes to provide.
Currently, annual fees for the Association are reasonable and provide
access to a variety of services.
Annual Fee: $50.00
Membership Services Provided:
- Have your products listed on the Mission Mountain Food Enterprise
Center’s E-commerce (advertised) website
- requires digital photograph of each product and descriptive
information
- fees charged for order processing and credit card transactions
- Link to your website
- UPC Codes for each product - $15.00 each ($5.00 per year renewal
fee for each code issued)
- Trade shows: MMFEC has a trade show booth available to members
at a nominal rental fee or members can share the booth for cost
savings
Other services to be added as membership grows and as members identify
and clarify their needs.
